Arts Temps has become an incredibly useful university resource for me during the past year. I signed up at the beginning of the academic year hoping to make some extra money to help with bills and college supplies. I was assigned to work in the college shop at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in January 2010. At the time of writing, I am scheduled to start work in the shop at London College of Communication next week. When I began working with Arts Temps I thought I'd just make a bit of extra money to make bills easier. However I have gained a lot more than a wage and work experience. I whole heartedly recommend the service to other students at University of the Arts London. Bryony Camberwell Graduate
I believe that through ArtsTemps, I was able to develop the necessary skills to obtain my current Part Time job that I now have in the New Look Flagship store in Oxford Street, something I don't think I would have been able to have got without it. Therefore ArtsTemps has really helped my employment prospects and I am really thankful to them for it. Isabella 2nd Year student at London College of Fashion
No exaggeration, ArtsTemps has helped boost my confidence in communicating with people- through the jobs. I never thought at this stage of university I would be able to get part-time work that's within the creative field. They have helped me in giving me time suitable to work within college hours. They have given me the choice to work, and not to mention, good pay. Mary 2nd year Student at LCC
Arts Temps gave calm, balanced advice. I was advised that during periods where work was not available to look for work experience or internships within the Arts industry in order to build my CV. I was advised Creative Careers have a website where I could look for work experience and they could also help me with CV and interview skills or advice. Kerrie LCF Graduate
I first joined Arts Temps when I heard about it in Sept 2009. I've done temping jobs before but they have all managed to be mind numbingly boring in a subject area I have no interest in whatsoever. I have found Arts Temps to be the opposite of that and it has benefitted me greatly..... I have thoroughly enjoyed all of my time with arts temps so far and have managed to make some useful contacts. I hope there will be many more opportunities for me with them. Hannah 3rd year BA student at LCC
